clients that don't automatically give you HTML pages. Choose
ones that deliver your mail as a text file, and, if the program
does allow HTML pages, choose a program that lets you turn
off the HTML feature.

never sending your own messages in the HTML format.

embedded in HTML pages - scripts that can activate, or encourage
you to activate, some type of nasty "exploit" on
